Almost a year after we have begun distance learning, my students' eyes are tired of screens -- they are ready for an in-print copy for themselves! I would love to be able to offer them a copy of The Book Thief to take home and enjoy. After reading our way through Night and creating a foundation of understanding around the Holocaust, my students are hungry for greater knowledge and more stories set during WWII. The Book Thief is a more recent depiction from a new perspective that offers an incredible literary experience.
