Having a computer than can keep up with my love bugs would be a game changer! No longer will we have to wait for my side to 'get it together' and catch up with what we are trying to accomplish; less tears will be shed due to deteriorating patience! Ultimately, I just want a device than can keep up as well as I can in the classroom. I feel like most of our time is waiting for things to load, then, once they load, my computer slows down and the interaction because almost pointless and I get to guide a group of 6 year olds (who are more kindergartners than first graders) through an unfamiliar, overstimulating digital world, just to get them to wherever we're trying to go. I would prefer to use that time working with them to develop fundamental skills like phonics, counting, maps, etc., rather than developing poor patience and coping mechanisms.
