This will improve many skills as listening and following directions, hand and fingering coordination, and reading skills including eye coordination as they concentrate and play each note. Playing the recorder can influence students to continue learning and playing other instruments as they continue going to each grade level. This is a wonderful way to create musicians for life. This will give a child the opportunity to discover their hidden talent that they can share later in life.
