Students need bee suits so we can open the hive and keep our kids sting-free. Right now, we are limited on the number we can have because of only having 9 suits. Part of learning about bees is the business side. Students collect, extract, bottle, market, and sell the honey. We found how hard it was to do a good job with a worn out extractor we borrowed from a bee guy. A few kids got hurt when the handle would come off. We need to make our bee business fun, educational, and safe.
