My students are a diverse group of learners who all read at a variety of levels and have a variety of interests. After moving states this summer, I realized that I didn't have enough nonfiction books in my classroom to meet the needs of my struggling students this year. I will use these books to provide accessible nonfiction books to my students. With the stress of learning during a Pandemic, my students need some extrinsic motivation this school year to encourage them to do their very best. I will use small rewards to encourage students in my classroom to meet their goals.
