These items will be used with upper level students. These students will be grouped according to needs. I hope to incorporate fingerprinting with our book Among the Hidden as well as hydroponics, these are both mentioned several times in the series and students always have question about how fingerprints are matched to a person and hydroponics is also a new word for them, that needs to be explained and I would love to show them how it works. The yarn and popsicle sticks will be used in my Native American unit. I will be making arts and crafts, such as dream catchers and God's eyes. I hope that the students will come out of this class at the end of the year with love of reading and understanding how to research and make decisions about books not solely by looking at the cover.
