I am currently using a chromebook that does not allow me to download any software. The MacBook Pro will allow me to download mathematics software needed to create engaging lessons. While earning my Master’s degree from UMass Lowell, I learned two software programs, Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) and Mathematica. While on campus, I would use GSP to create detailed shapes that I later used in my geometry lessons and Mathematica allowed me to code and simulate probability problems. Though my students do not have access to these program while at home, I can download these programs onto the MacBook and share my screen with them during class. This will enable me to provide my students with detailed and interactive examples during each lesson. Thank you for donating!
