Reading empowers and at DDS we want to give our students as many opportunities as possible to grow through reading. I started The Family and Student Reading Club with the purpose of maximizing the opportunities my students have to explore and engage in reading with their family members. We will use Genesis Begins Again as I believe the story illustrates tools that can be used to strengthen relationships among students, their families, and their classmates. My goal is to build a community that finds meaning and purpose in reading and to encourage the enjoyment of reading for life. Please help us to start this club in our school as we truly need your support to make this a reality.
