The materials obtained will help develop a fun and educational environment for my students with learning disabilities. These tools will make classroom lessons more enjoyable and encourage more student participation. Student participation is a great tactic to practice their social and communication skills. Considering that all of my students are visual learners, my goal is to create a classroom environment where they have self motivation to want to learn. That is why investing in these kid-friendly/educational tools will support my goal of creating an enriching educational experience for these kids. With the comfy chairs, I plan on creating a “Leisure and Rewards Corner” where students will find leggos, math games, arts/crafts materials, shapes puzzles, etc. They will be granted free time in the Rewards Corner if they exhibit proper behavior during class time and if they finish their work with great participation.
