These materials will be incorporated into class-wide lessons, small group counseling, individual counseling, direct social skills instruction, responsive counseling, mediations, behavior support, and classroom support to Teachers. More specifically, I envision the use of the Mood Flipbook and the Thought-Spot I know what to do flipbook for our primary grade levels as they are being introduced to and learning to understand various feelings. I am excited about the What If? jar, CBT 123 and I Like Me 123 as resources to use with our intermediate grade levels to help students apply coping skills and problem-solving skills to various social and emotional situations. I plan to use the social skills board games for small group counseling. With an increase of virtual learners and the fluidity of students moving from in-person to virtual learning (back and forth), the SEL from a Distance would be a great resource.
