The calendar math in my cart will help with our morning meeting. It gives students an interactive piece while learning their months and days of the week. There are ten frames and addition and subtraction equations aligned with our curriculum. The calendar math also allows you to teach place value while counting the days you've been in school and so much more. It helps make learning fun. The name plates are essential as well. I started the year off with many nameplates, but students tend to peel them up, and I have to replace them. I also change my seating charts frequently based on student data which means I have to replace nameplates. Seat sacks help with organization and give me more instructional time because I will not have to pass out books every day. This also gives students responsibility. I had seat sacks for my student but lost them in Hurricane Ida.
