These essential items will allow my students be successful because we use hands on items. This will create a positive learning environment where the items belong to the classroom and they will share with others students in the classroom. The benefits are unimaginable and unlimited. They all have different goals and objectives to master with their (IEP) Individualized Education Plan and they all have different modification or accommodations. The materials will assist with the supports daily. They will have the security of knowing that the items are sanitized daily. The books will also be stored in our own personal library. My students will enjoy working with calming strategies that will be taught in the classroom when they become frustrated or upset. These materials will make a big difference with my students because they can learn to be calm and use their coping strategies with the materials.
