My students are no different than any other students in America--they have their work cut out for them. They're doing their best to safely learn during a pandemic while simultaneously trying to make up for lost time when e-learning at the end of last year. My students don't shy away from a challenge, but they do tend to get frustrated when they encounter a text that's confusing to them. By providing them with copies of No Fear Shakespeare: Julius Caesar, I will be able to challenge them at just the right difficulty level while they wrestle with Shakespeare....and prove to themselves that they CAN read it and understand it.
