This project will give over 130 students an opportunity to see the impact one book can do. Whether it be a book about diversity, learning something new about a holiday, or listening to a teacher read fluently; it can help a child's imagination. I want students to love reading and not just see it as they must read 20 minutes a night because it is part of their homework. Showing students different author's and finding interests they have with books can make a huge difference. I want to start Fluency Friday's in my intervention classroom to show the benefits of different types of books.
