My special education students are hands-on learners! Remote learning can be so challenging with everything on the screen. Can you imagine my students actually holding a book in their hands that is at their reading level and has relatable characters? With books like these, my students will be so engaged reading about cultural practices and daily lives like their own. They will enjoy seeing kids who look like them and have names like theirs. Engagement will be huge, thanks to you!
