Our students learn through structured, open ended play centers. Having a large supply of sturdy blocks will help them learn to share with others, be cooperative, develop self esteem and creativity, and strengthen large and fine motor skills. Having access to block play people, a dollhouse, and LEGO's will let their imagination soar and foster a love for lifelong social skills and imagination. In our classroom, students are encouraged to use toys, manipulatives, art materials, and props to purposely steer their learning in literacy, mathematics, language, physical, social-emotional, and the arts.

About my class
