These books will be used, in conjunction with the material learned synchronously, to enhance my students' learning through narrative and the power of storytelling. We are focusing primarily on perspective this year, particularly those that are often underrepresented or glanced over. We will be using these books as a part of our annual book club for Humanities, in order for students to gain these perspectives, especially during this most tumultuous moment in history. With your help, we will be able to better understand the lives and stories of not only our peers as a community, but what stories we feel we should tell as well.
