My students need iPads in the art room so they can independently photograph, edit, title, and upload their own artwork to their online art portfolio on the Artsonia platform. Additionally, these iPads would allow me to have one iPad per table. (I have 7 tables with 2-5 students at each table). They will be able to work collaboratively(when the pandemic is over!) to create art such as stop-motion videos as well as access the abundance of art-making apps designed for tablets. Having an iPad for each table will also allow students to independently select their own subject matter and symbols for their artwork rather than relying on me to provide that for them.
