I do not have the option to teach this book, Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption, unless we get physical copies to the students at home. Also, these books will be given to the students for them to mark up key passages that they find inspiring, troubling, discussion-worthy, etc. This will spark the final project in the class which will be a social justice project of their choice - linking up with a community agency to make an impact on an issue that means the most to them. We aren’t just reading about these issues, we are taking action on them!
