The majority of our students are taking courses virtually while living in poverty stricken communities. Our students live in homes that don't have food or the supply and access to food is limited. Due to the severe conditions of the home we strive to alleviate some of the need by providing food for our students. There have been studies that have linked hunger to school performance. Since COVID 19, our students lives have been interrupted in more ways than one which can have a negative impact on their school work. Our goal is to make sure that we bridge the hunger gap to ensure that our students are successful inside the physical and virtual classroom.

About my class
