My students are often looking for choices in their everyday life since many choices are already chosen for them. When they come to my classroom, I want them to know they have a choice and they are responsible. Through flexible seating, students get to make weekly choices on where they learn best and prove their responsibility each week. When students get choices in their education, they are more engaged and begin to value their own voice. The materials I've selected will help my students stay focused and become more comfortable in the learning environment.
