We are working to bridge the gaps created by COVID-19, and prevent gaps from happening across all learning environments. Skills in subject areas are so transferable into life skills. Managing money, learning how to spend money and earn money, realizing that they can build things- big or small. These are the aspects of unspoken curriculum that I work to incorporate with my students every day. COVID 19 led to learning loss across the board, but especially for those who were already behind, and those who struggle. School does not last forever, and the struggles that we see don’t have to either!
