The current pandemic has changed everything for a lot of teachers and students. Although my students have an option to work from home, more and more students are choosing to join us in person and on campus. They miss coming to school and love working together. However, guidelines have made the day to day very difficult for our kiddos. To remain safe, our district has demanded that students stay in the classroom almost all eight hours of our school day. We have 20 minutes of outside time. They don't have the opportunity to socialize with students outside of their class and they rarely get to move from their seats, which can lead to a lot of built up energy. I am requesting stacking stools, chair balls, motion stools and lap desks. I would be so grateful to have a variety of flexible seating in our classroom to give my amazing students a change and different ways to move to release their energy. They work hard and deserve a little fun and change. Thank you for considering donating to our little family.
