My project is an effort to provide an inviting atmosphere for my students. Half of my class will be returning for in-person learning. That means social distancing and keeping 6 feet apart. Students will need to remain at their desks most of the day. I wanted to have an additional seating option which is why I added yoga mats for students to sit and stretch out on. My classroom will have a camping theme and their desks/yoga mats will be their "campsites". The lanterns go along with that theme and provide an additional lighting option during our "camping out with books" time during reading. I will provide lanterns for my students at home so that they can also participate in our camping out with books time.
