My students are eager to perform onstage after so much upheaval with Covid. Class plays are a great way for them to build ensemble work as a cast, create a character to portray, and feel confident onstage. Real costumes and not a bathrobe from their mom's closet, really help them to feel like they embody their character. I am only in my second year of teaching, and really want to give my students an opportunity to feel like real actors during their class plays. I also want to teach them how to care for the costumes. The steamer is good for costumes that can't be laundered (and for getting rid of those pesky junior high student smells). By donating to my project, you can give them a real sense of pride and ownership of their performances. Thank you!
