Students learn best when they are comfortable. Flexible seating options such as wobble stools and exercise balls help students find the comfy spot that best works for their body. Many gifted students reflect asynchronous development. That is, their brain is working on a level that surpasses the body they're in. When the needs of their body are better met, the brain can truly engage! By providing flexible seating options, I hope to encourage that need to be a wiggly kid so their brain can focus on critical thinking and problem solving.

About my class
