My students need more books for at-home and in-class reading. Students take ownership of their learning as they self-select reading at their "just right" level for their independent reading. Choosing books at their level allows students to be successful with every book as they learn to read. Students learn to make good book choices based on awareness of their reading successes or challenges. Choosing books of interest provides students the chance to learn the love of reading for enjoyment. Students are always excited when they find books that interest them. You can help my students learn and grow stronger as readers!
