The iPad and stylus will be used to provide in-time feedback and instruction on student-submitted assignments. It will allow for me to directly explain my thinking, which will be very helpful in explaining math and drawing conceptual particle diagrams. This will in turn increase student learning. Whereas, the lab kits are made of plastic and will be distributed to students in all of my chemistry classes in a rotating manner. Students will have to share and sanitize these lab materials in between as well. Students will then be able to understand the lab materials that we have been talking about in class because they have actually touched them and manipulated them with their own hands.
