By having a social-emotional lending library and online resources, my students will be able to use literacy in school and at home to connect and reflect on their behavior and/or situations through the book's story and characters. This project will also help students learn critical social skills such as friendship, respect, empathy, and self-control. These materials will help my students grow their emotional self-awareness, confidence, and decrease future conflict. The lending library will also allow teachers to borrow character education books and related activities to further the student's understanding of the month's school-wide character trait.

About my class
