With the addition of the iPad into our classroom, we will be one of the few classrooms in the school that has access to such technology. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher learning. An iPad helps students who are kinesthetic and visual learners open up the doors of education and individualize their learning experiences. The iPad will become a experiences in the classrooms well as build twenty first century skills that our students need in order to be successful in a quick evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in centers with the iPad in writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulative and more. I have 40 spectacular third graders who are eager to infuse their learning with technology! I have multiple students who are really struggling with literacy and I think they would really benefit from some of the educational programs found online. I would also like to incorporate an iPad into my small group instruction to help students improve their foundational skills.
