Hey! My project is to help special education students district-wide! One of my primary roles is to evaluate students for special education and assist their needs with academic and social-emotional struggles. During this time of social distancing, it is important to use easily cleaned materials while keeping a safe distance. I-pad's will help to assist safe social distancing for the student and assessor. These devices will collect accurate data on students quickly. Collecting data quickly will help assess students more efficiently during the pandemic during in-remote learning and transition back to in-person learning. Ipad has also been shown to increase engagement during testing. Since Ipad cut down on the time in testing we can make more time for students who have fallen behind during the initial shut down since March 2020.
