I am a first year PE teacher and this year looks so different. PE classes are now being taught in the student’s traditional classrooms. With the limited space and the need for quality equipment, PE is very difficult for the students to enjoy. My student’s rely on a lot of equipment like soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs and much more. During the school day there are multiple PE classes going on at the same time, facilitated by different teachers within the schools.With the increase of numbers of PE classes being taught at the same time at these elementary schools much more equipment is needed. Lacking the quality and quantity of equipment takes away from the students' ability to appreciate what PE can offer them. My goal is to have my students enjoy their learning process in PE by having an adequate amount of quality equipment.
