Reading science articles help students understand how the world works around them. It helps them to stay up to date on what is happening as well as allows them to explore their curiosities in different topics covered in these magazines. The topics on these are usually very diverse so it allows students to learn about multiple things from one resource. Overall I know that our students will benefit from having this resource readily accessible to them when we are working in science class. Another great attribute of these magazines is being able to use them multiple times a year.
