I am in need of tasks boxes for my special education classroom. The learning materials will be purchased from teachers pay teachers. The boxes for storing the individual sets of materials will be purchased from Amazon. Also, the entire set will be stored on a wheeled cart from Lakeshore. This will make the materials mobile, should I need to moveWith task boxes, I will be able to promote student independence in the classroom, in addition to providing work that is oriented toward individual student goals. I would use the monthly task box materials from Teachers Pay Teachers. Each task, or assignment is placed in a small box that can be readily accessed by the students. With a different set of boxes each month, students are motivated by the materials. Higher levels of student motivation leads to better academic achievement, as well as better classroom behaviors. The focus of the activities in the task boxes is math and ELA skills. Each month, new activities will be provided. The students will look forward to the beginning of each month, as they will get a new set of materials! The boxes also come with two different levels for each skill, so that it can be matched to the skill level of each individual student. This project will be wonderful in my classroom because it will promote student independence while providing critical skills practice in math and ELA at each students' skill level!
