Our "Zen Den" will be warm and comforting with soft lighting and an air diffuser. Students will be able to listen to calming meditations and participate in various yoga poses using the yoga mats and posters. The kinetic sand will be a great way for students to calm their mind and use their creativity. The lava lamps will allow students to time their breathing with flowing lava. Students love to get their thoughts or artwork on the Buddha board and watch it disappear while the water dries. Having the smart plugs will allow us to save on electricity by programming routines for the various things to come on and off. The giant beanbag chair will be like sitting on a cloud. We are hoping to create a safe, welcoming space for kids to learn to calm their mind in order to focus on their schoolwork.
