What do you think about when you hear the word "choir"? You might think of a church choir that is usually on some type of riser on stage to set them apart. You may think of a college or university choir that are wearing their all black formal attire marching on stage onto their risers. Or you might be thinking about a crazy person flapping their arms around trying to get people to sing. Well, this crazy-arm-flapping director wants his students to have a true choral setting when they perform. These risers will elevate students not only physically, but it will also assist them in understanding that the music they make literally raises the spirits of all who listen.
