All students learn best when new information is reinforced visually and auditorily. For students with challenging learning needs, presenting material through both modalities is even more critical. The use of a document camera for my distance learning students would be an incredible advantage to having lessons through technology. A document camera would allow me to demonstrate lessons, share reading materials, assist students with following directions, and allow students to learn through both hearings and seeing the material being presented. It would be a game-changer in these times of educational "zooming!"
