Many of my classes have over 24 students. We only have around 8-10 Orff instruments, so we have to share quite a bit when doing keyboard activities. Our school has 450+ students, and I only see my student once a week most of the time since I teach at two different schools in the District. My hope is to put quality instruments in my students' hands where we will only need to share with two people instead of three in some cases. With only once a week class, every minute I have them actively making music is helping them make better connections. This will allow for more hands-on music for all.
