Virtual instruction has proven to be quite the challenge for my students, as they require hands on manipulatives to assist them with concrete learning. An iPad will be an indispensable tool when virtual learners return to the classroom as traditional manipulatives are an unsafe option for social distancing. An iPad can be sanitized quickly between uses, and will limit disruptions to instructional time. An iPad will be a great tool for virtual instruction as it can play several roles in virtual instruction: Document camera, digital whiteboard, secondary screen, presentation tool, and the list continues.
