The students will learn about the needs of the planet by learning about the life cycles of plants. The materials will allow all students to observe the germination of a plant, parts of a plant and the interdependence of living and non-living things. The posters and books will provide for rich literature for students to read and gain knowledge. Students are preparing for the future by learning and sharing knowledge about the planet and understanding our responsibility to protect all living things. The vertical planter, herbs, and watering system will allow the students to be part of the plants cycle of life and learning the importance of caring for living things.
