These materials will be used to create a happy and inviting environment for students to escape to during those times when they are experiencing feelings of sadness, anxiety, grief, relationship issues or anger that inhibits them from being successful learners. A place that provides emotional support from the school counselor as well as resources for them to use to assist them in self-care. The lessons and materials purchased will provide me with the resources to teach students engaging lessons in the social emotional arena, cyber-safety, relationship skills, how to transition smoothly to middle school, meditation/yoga, goal setting and organizational skills just to name a few.
