The Lenovo Tablets will be used in the classroom for students that have difficulty seeing on the Chromebooks that have a smaller screen than they are presently using. The Lenovo Tablets have a larger screen and the apps that are touchscreen will give them the ability to interact with the lessons. Having the touchscreen Lenovo tablets will help them benefit from hand-eye coordination. It also helps students with pincher grasp issues. Some lessons will help them with phonemic awareness by tracing letters and numbers. Other lessons may include tactile and auditory development. Also, students will be able to Zoom and communicate with their teachers, peers, and community. Our visually impaired students can benefit from read-aloud apps. These are just a few of the lessons that we have planned.
