This year I am the virtual teacher for our kindergarten students in the school district of New London. We are working hard to develop a lifelong love for reading and writing, a developmental process that begins with letters and sounds. This project would provide students with hands-on materials and supportive manipulatives to discover and manipulate letters, which leads to words and, ultimately, sentences. These students meet in breakout sessions with me to develop their individual goals for reading and writing and this project would help them tremendously to do this while at home with distance learning.

About my class
