Many of our students are below grade-level in reading. In the past few years through changes in curriculum, RTI, outside motivations, and purposeful enriching instruction, the reading level of students has been steadily improving. However, research shows that one of the most effective ways to improve reading skills is to make it meaningful purposeful, and enjoyable. We have created The "LIT" cats Reading Squad for our Bobcats. The sole purpose of this club is to expose our children to relevant and engaging literature. These books will do that for our kids, and also help to develop their literacy skills.

About my class
