Everyday when I teach math I always think how much easier it would be for them to grasp the concept IF they could hold it in their hands. When we do centers everyday, they would be SO much more engaged if their was more hands on learning in the stations. Science and Social studies come to LIFE when the kids can see and touch things I am trying to teach them. With the science and social studies unit manipulatives, I will be able to give these kids the background knowledge they will need in the future in order to be successful 21st century learners.

About my class
