These resources will allow my students to focus on the work of learning instead of worrying about how to collect the materials needed to learn. A good student of history understands the interconnectedness of our people and communities' lived experiences. One way these resources will help students understand this interconnectedness is through our themes project. This project allows students to trace themes like civil rights, immigration, and citizenship in a visual format on poster boards by drawing, writing and printing out words, ideas, and pictures that trace their given theme.
