Help my Special Education students have the tools they need, at home and school, to complete their assignments and master their standards. My students are hard working kids who do not always have the tools they need to succeed, especially when they are not in the classroom. Therefore, the need for a personal set of headphones to use at home and school is crucial to be successful during COVID. Students will be able to use these headphones to listen to our novels online, complete their iReady lessons, and tune into our Google Meet meetings with minimal distractions. My students also need quality digital lessons from educators on Teachers Pay Teachers. Reading materials made by Jennifer Findley, One Stop Teacher Shop and the Not So Wimpy teacher, will provide my students with intuitive lessons while they learn from home. We are also requesting pencils, because even during COVID, students need to write things down and make visual models for true understanding.
