Students will learn to analyze and manipulate a cube. They will first learn to solve a Rubiks cube. After they have learned the algorithms for that, we will explore creating mosaics with the cubes. Students will also have the opportunity to create their own mosaic pattern for the group to complete. In teaching others, we teach ourselves (Latin Proverb). Students will be allwed to borrow a cube to take home. This will give them extra practice time and also the opportunity to teach a sibling or caregiver the algorithms needed to successfully solve a Rubiks cube.
