Our Pre-K team is asking for help in providing a Scholastic magazine subscription for each of our students. These magazines will provide shared reading experiences for our students in school and at home. The magazines feature real life events and topics that we cover in Pre-K. This would allow the students to have a resource to use at home to share with the families about what they are learning. It also provides vocabulary building and social skills for the students. In addition to the magazine, it would come with a technology piece that is interactive for the students. The technology piece has short clip videos and fun facts for the students to expand their learning. The magazine also brings in an academic piece at the end of it which might include number skills, literature skills and or writing skills.
