Students will be reading these inspiring books at home as well as at school. The clubs will meet all year on a biweekly basis in the school library. We will discuss themes relevant to the students' lives, such as civil rights, racial identity and African American history. If the COVID19 pandemic forces our students to revert to once again to learning at home, the books will be taken home by the students and our book clubs will meet virtually via Google Meet to discuss what we are reading. All of our students have been assigned devices for remote learning.
